Installing your LuxAir fan
Installation takes an average of 30-45 minutes. If you have an existing connection point in the ceiling, you don't need an electrician. Read this guide completely before you start.
Multilingual installation manual included Every LuxAir fan comes with a comprehensive installation manual including step-by-step illustrations. This online guide is supplementary.
Safety first. Always switch off the power circuit at the meter cabinet before you start. Use a voltage tester to check that there is no power on the wires.
What you need
Step by step
Turn off power
Switch off the power circuit at the meter cabinet. Use a voltage tester to verify there is no power on the wires. This is the most critical step β never skip it.
Mount housing
Remove the ceiling housing from the box. Attach the ceiling anchor to the junction box in your ceiling with the supplied screws. Make sure the anchor is level.
Connect wires
There are usually three wires: brown/red = live (L), blue = neutral (N), green/yellow = earth (PE). Connect the wires via the supplied wire connectors. Not sure? Consult an electrician.
Secure housing
Slide the housing against the ceiling and secure it to the anchor. Make sure all wires are tucked neatly away.
Mount blades
Attach the three blades to the motor mount. Each blade is secured with two screws. Do not overtighten.
Mount lamp
Mount the LED lighting frame to the bottom of the motor. Connect the lighting cable and secure the frame.
Turn on power and test
Switch the power circuit back on. Test the fan on all speeds and the lighting on all color temperatures.
